Test beds, pilot facilities, research stations and demonstrators are important for testing, evaluating and advancing development.
It is important to have access to facilities where new technical solutions can be tested and evaluated. Therefore, IVL has built up and operated facilities for conducting true-to-life tests, often together with various partners.
It is in our test facilities that we advance our knowledge by learning whether the theories hold up in the real world.

Sjöstadsverket Water Innovation Centre
At IVL's test facility Sjöstadsverket in Stockholm, we develop technology to recycle and utilize treated wastewater.
Kristineberg research station
